L. A. Cargill lives and works in Austin, Texas. Her acrylic on canvas art focuses on Aztec and Mayan gods. She paints the occassional southwestern style wall art and some ethereal pieces. Ms. Cargill divides her time between painting, crafting beautiful, one of a kind, full moon dreamcatchers; web design; graphic arts and writing for HubPages and Examiner.com.

Lela is a descendant of the Choctaw tribe of Native Americans and this is reflected in her many designs and dream catchers. She loves to attend Native American PowWows and respects the many artists displaying their wares. Someday she hopes to have her own artist's booth at local art fairs.
