Try these delicious Cookies!![]() Free Chocolate Chip Cookie Recipe1 1/4 cups granulated date sugar or fructose sugar 2 T. canola oil (swirl around to coat glass measuring cup) 3/4 c. brown rice syrup (in glass measuring cup from above) 10 ounces prune puree or Lighter Bake® fat substitute 4 egg whites 2 t. high quality vanilla (Watkins® is the best) 2 t. butter flavoring (or banana flavoring) In a separate large bowl, mix the following dry ingredients: 3 c. old fashioned rolled oats 2 c. uprocessed oat bran 2 c. all purpose flour 1 1/2 t. baking soda 1/2 t. baking powder 1/2 t. salt 1/3 c. premium cocoa powder 1/2 c. semi-sweet chocolate chips OR milk chocolate/peanut butter chips 1 c. walnut or pecan pieces Mix the dry ingredients with the wet ingredients - mixture will be very thick Preheat oven to 350 degrees F. Spray cookie pan with butter flavor non-stick cooking spray. With damp hands, make large cookie patties (about the size of hamburger patties) and place on baking pan about 1 inch apart. Bake for 20 minutes. Makes 18 to 20 large cookies! Each cookie has about 280 calories, 6 g. protein, 4 g. fat, 50 g. carbohydrates, 200 g. sodium, 5 g. fiber, 27 g. sugar, no cholesterol, and 4 Weight Watchers® points. Each batch lasts 2 people eating 1 or 2 cookies a day for a week. We eat a cookie for breakfast with coffee and another cookie for afternoon or night time snack. These cookies are SO good, you won't mind the work of baking them every week and they are so high fiber, they curb your appetite. Because they are so high fiber, you may want to eat one a day until your body adapts to the fiber! Plus! These cookies are very portable and excellent meal replacements for lunch at work! |
